About

The Livery Archive Project is an online visual database documenting and detailing motorsport liveries throughout time. Present day or iconic past, we are the comprehensive visual archive of liveries online.

A long long time ago, the first full sponsor livery was slapped on to Graham Hill's Lotus 49. Since then, liveries have evovled from being simple one brand advertisements to complex medley's of logos, shapes, textures and colours.

Beginning in 2021 as a side project, The Livery Archive Project is the passion project of DNF Studio (a motorsport based agency).

With a goal of showcasing what DNF can produce, as well as celebrating the great motorsport liveries of all time, the archive aims to encapsulate the intersection of design, branding and motorsport.

We aim to cover as much as possible and accurately as possible.
